I received am email shortly after I signed up giving my Plat #, password etc.

When you get your card, can you check the expiration date.
Mine says 12/46, which I really doubt is for 2046. They'd be smart not to let me rent cars by the time that year rolls around.

My new card does not list an expiration date on it.

Mine doesn't either (just got it last week),however, there is this clause:
"The possibility of receiving an upgrade is only valid for up to 12 months from the issue date of the card. This advantage remains when you rent at least 20 times a year with Sixt."
