The 2003 Re-qualification thread... post your dates/level(s) here....
Post the dates you requalified for status level(s) here, along with the flight and whether on miles or segments.
And we'll stipulate that Million Mile flyers re-qualified for 1P on January 1
Me: Premier level, May 8, SFO-DEN, 30th segment. 20,659 miles.
You?

As a Million Miler, made Premier Executive on Jan 1 per your stipulation.
Passed normal Premier 25K on Jan 24 with 10 YTD segments.
Passed normal Premier Executive 50K on Feb 19 with 18 YTD segments.
Passed normal 1K 100K on Mar 30 with 34 YTD segments.
(Admittedly doing a totally unnecessary and stupid mileage run as I was soooooo close to 100K near the end of the March, and I just thought it would be fun to say I got it all in by the 1st Quarter).
Now, what are you going to do with all of this "valuable" data?
edited to add: I actually flew more than that during the first quarter, on award tickets and other airlines! Also made Starwood Platinum with 26 stays and 40 plus nights during that same quarter. It was a killer, I'll admit.

Made Premiere on April 25th (SEA-DEN) on my 23rd segment (25,895 miles).
Will make 1P on July 20th flying LAX-SEA on my 38th segment and taking advantage of the 9000 bonus status miles.
I have a SEA-SFO-SAN-SFO-NRT-SFO-SAN-SFO-SEA trip scheduled in September that will put me at 67,000 miles for the year.

Just requalified for regular 1K on May 14 with just over 101,000 miles and just under 50 segments.
Do I get anything for that?
An extra pair of SWUs?
------------------
When once you have experienced being a 1K, you will forever fly the friendly skies with your eyes set on 100% mileage bonus and SWUs, for there you have been, and there you will always long to return, every year!

I hit the 25K mark on NRT-SIN, Feb 21.
I hit the 50K mark on NRT-SFO, Mar 3.
I'm now at 85,138. Just waiting to see if UA lowers the qualification levels.

Premier: Feb, 2003... thanks to SIN run.
Premier Executive: early Apr, 2003
Will have about 75K miles by Mid June.
I'll make 1K this year. When all depends on how many west coast trips I take, how many West Coast friends I fly to see, how many FT dos I do, and if I do Hawaii
(10K miles EWR-OGG or HNL) It will come later then sooner because of those pesty new SWUs
Now what do I get for this fete of flight? ;0)
Congrats to my Big Bruddar and everyone who made 1K early. Want to gradually build the miles towards another year of 1K. Last year was at 1K on May 1 and I was exausted!!!
Also at 600000 plus miles on my way to my MM by November, 2007.

I'm posting here specifically because I have not requalified yet this year.
Last year in total I flew something like 220k qualification miles, re-qualifying for 1K around April or May. This year, I've only flown about 35k on UA (vs. more than 65k on AA--bringing me to where I was about this time in total on UA last year) because of all the negative changes UA has been making.
And, I'm quite a happy AA flyer, expecting to hit EXP within the next two months.
I may requal as a 1K this year depending on how I feel around July. But, UA needs to take note that the cutback in same-day ticket changes, the new limitations on SWUs, the closing of the 1K rooms-- all of those factors and more are contributing to their loss of revenue from this once-totally-loyal flyer.
