@UnitedAirlines tweeted pics of the N794UA economy cabin and it is 3-3-3 as we have been told.

Not the new Configuration today

I was aboard 914 from SFO to IAD today and can confirm what is already speculated, it was not the new configuration.

Even the FAs were told to expect the new configuration today.

One showed me the configuration in her book that she had studied. She said the swap out occurred at 4 am this morning, no reason relayed to the crew.

I take this flight 3-4 times a month so maybe I will get lucky one day soon.

OK, I've got my boarding pass and am sitting in the SFO RCC. As of now we're still scheduled for the reconfigured aircraft to operate UA 914 SFO to IAD.

I have it on good authority that UA 914 today is indeed the new configuration... enjoy your flight!

UAL cargo still shows it as the 77Q today, and it looks like the new bird is in the air:

and United.com won't let me do an on-line check-in for UA914 tomorrow (Sunday) am - usually a sign that a seat map change is in the works...

I am also on 914 on Sunday (4/25). I was able to check in on the mobile site around 8:05a but am unable to check-in on ual.com "check-in unavailable at this time".

My upgrade hasnt cleared either :-(

Damn UA for not having Wi-Fi fleet wide (or at the very least on this brand new config)! We would have had many CaptainBilly on board reports by now.

Sunday's flight (4/25) just pulled up the new seat map. So much for that upgrade with 9 less seats.

Currently in 21H - any other flytalkers stop by and say hi.

If the new config'd 777 operated SFO-IAD on Sat, and was supposed to operate SFO-IAD this morning also, what flight did it operate westbound yesterday evening? Or did it?

It did: on UA975. Same drill today (Sunday) -- on its way back to SFO as 975 now....

Am I still the one and only?

Still no reports on the new configuration other than mine? No other FTer was on 914 on 4/24? It was a full bird.

No reports from UA 975 Saturday night / Sunday morning?

I am truly surprised.
