Mr. Karen2 passed the 1 million mark en route to Boston a few years ago. I told the FA and the pilot made an announcement just as we flew over the mileage point. The FA gave him a bottle of champagne. Every year he is gifted with two regional upgrades. I think the Premier Exec for Life is a very good perk. I wish he had preferential treatment in upgrade queues but he does get to choose his meal before the other 1K's if the FA's are not doing front to back, etc. He has actually flown about 2 million miles but the other million was before the Mileage Plus program began. I am at the halfway mark myself. ^

Just received my 1K MM card two days ago. Nice to have the extra drink chits, I can use them on TED to Mexico over New Year's.

Joined MP in the mid-eighties on UA001 as the initial flight. Been 1K in the past 9-10 years. Will cross 1.5M next year.

1.556M and counting

Like 1KWoman above, all of my miles are domestic. The new Intl trips i have taken were all in FC using miles...

I estimate I will hit 2M in 2010...

2 MM BIS since last summer. No incentives for the 2nd milestone even though I passed the 1st milestone before they had the "3 SWU" program. 1P for life was the only thing I earned.

Me too. The biggest change about crossing into MM land has been that I don't get very worked up anymore about the typical travel hassles. Makes reading FT a lot more amusing.
