UA Million Miler/Multi-Million Miler Roll Call Thread
Anyone know how many Million Mile flyers there are out there? I'm one.
(With mod hat on): I'll adjust the thread title to alert others to this as a "roll-call" thread.
See post #11 for a total of MMers reporting in the thread.

From an article in 2005:
"Of the 120 million frequent-flier club members of all the world's airlines, Petersen estimates, about 307,000 have earned more than 1 million miles in at least one airline's program. That's about one in 400. About 70% of the mileage millionaires live in North America, and about 250,000 of them are in the programs of American, United and Delta, he says."

So however many MP members there are figure .25% are MM's if this holds true.

Number five (including the OP who is MM).
(With mod hat on): I'll adjust the thread title to alert others to this as a "roll-call" thread.
Tally: as of post 645 (1/2/12) we have 308 MMers reporting in this thread (including a few spouses or work colleagues of members).
Of those, 36 are 2MMers or above, with one of them UA's highest-tallied FFer, a 10MMer.
To keep the count based on a uniform method, this count includes only those who qualified under the original (legacy) UA method of counting only actual flight miles on UA/UX. Going forward, we can count those who've qualified as a result of combining CO/UA miles, including those who've had EQM's added on 12/31/11.
