Typically we put that in the economy thread, but I say we can put it up for a vote...it is indeed the same food as business domestically (at least the main course).

If so, we should thereafter so modify the thread title.

SFO-DEN, 787-9 Dreamliner

Pre-ordered my meal: beef brisket (see menu from my earlier post).

BLUF: Brisket is delicious, I would definitely get it again.
I was wow’d away by the new blueberry tart dessert.

Pre departure drink - purser asked for drink orders (“what would you like to drink?”). I got water, but heard coffee, tomato juice, and champagne around me.

After departure, hot towel, nuts too hot, and full can of Coke.

On-board meal choice was beef brisket or pasta rigatoni.

I was seated in the back of the front cabin, got served one hour and 15 minutes after departure. It was a “two coke” and “one bathroom break” wait. Had to eat quickly as there was only had 45 minutes remaining in the flight.

Roll was warm. Greens in the salad were fresh.

The beef brisket was very delicious. It was cubed, tender, and some pieces had fatty areas, but it is brisket after all (I did not mind it - easy to cut/bite off). The BBQ sauce is smoky, not too sweet. The mashed potatoes were creamy and buttery, also delicious.

Creamed spinach - big fail. Looked and tasted disgusting, left it on the plate.

On the other hand - the new blueberry dessert was a winner! My new favorite meal element. I think it was a tart, lots of blueberries, custard center, and the crust was cakey and buttery. I won’t mind taking some time with this dessert with coffee on a future flight.

Hot nuts and full can of Coke Zero

Beef brisket with mashed potatoes and creamed spinach

Delicious blueberry tart
