Can I withdraw a waitlisted PlusPoints upgrade online or do I need to call in?

If no part of it has cleared, yes.

If that is the case, you have to find the pluspoints activity tab, and there is a link to cancel. It always takes me a good minute or two to locate it. :o

Is it at the reservation level or the account level ?

Booked the following flights to LHR on B fare and were able to confirm upgrades on all but IAH-EWR. As 1K, I'm hoping that the domestic segment would upgrade using CPU instead of using additional Plus Points. Is there a way to stop the Plus Points from applying?

During the upgrade process, you selected the flights you wanted to upgrade. If you selected IAH-EWR, you won’t be able to change that now. It wouldn’t have been any extra PlusPoints, but you do end up with lower priority than you would have had as a 1K on a B fare.

COVID19 and PlusPoints
 

So United cancelled my flight where I had used Plus Points and thought it may take a day for them to be redeposited. Flight cancelled two days ago and surprised it was not an automatic redeposit. I emailed MP but in the total scheme things do not expect an immediate response as they need to be helping the front line CS reps with calls.

How long did it take for others to get the Plus Points redeposited to their accounts?

I have had problems with automatic redeposits. I haven't redeposited any in the COVID-19 era, but in January I waited 48 hours after my flight without having them returned on multiple occasions. In each case, it took less than 24 hours to get them back after a request to 1K Voice. I suspect they'll be somewhat slower now.

It took 3 days for them to do it for my account just after the PlusPoints transition (December).

Just now cancel an SFO-EWR roundtrip with cleared PlusPoints upgrade (duh -- 3 seats out of 50 shown as occupied and the flight was in a couple of days)
PlusPoints were redeposited immediately.
And showing as deposited in the activity activity

Received email from MP today in response to my email. They redeposited the PlusPoints today.

Which booking class should be available for PlusPoints to clear immediately? Looking at TATL flights in the fall; using ExpertFlyer to check my options.

PZ, which isn't available in ExpertFlyer. Unless you're GS, in which case it's PN, which still isn't available in ExpertFlyer.

I just noticed I had 320 Plus Points deposited into my account on April 23, in two buckets (one for 280, one for 40). I only have 13,521 PQP in 2020 so far. Gift horse?
EDIT: maybe this is just the belated add of the 320 for 1K/GS?
