Did they post a no-passes policy there?

ORD was ridiculously overcrowded w/the C club 3/4 under reno, and the B6 club closed. But its all for a purpose, and I'm not sure that whining about temporary crowding when the objective is to improve and increase club capacity.

Wouldn't it make more sense to put the IAH Polaris lounge in Terminal E?

All you have to do is fill out an application and pay the annual fee. It's a very wise investment, especially for IAH travelers.

The AMEX lounge is not necessarily the perfect solution. It's certainly an option,
but I have seen it become more and more crowded. The rest area is always full,
couple of times the only place available was in the dining area. This, by the way,
is true for the SFO lounge as well.
And it is quite a walk to the C gates.

The KLM lounge fills up too, but these two are still much better than the horrid UC without any seats available during rush hours.

The IAH Polaris lounge will be in Terminal E - 3rd floor of the current E UC.

The C North location will stay as a UC.

The C south UC was always the most crowded. Even before the closure of C North.

With C North closed the crowding issue is compounded.

The E club isn't that far away. But the 2nd floor of E is always crowded. 3rd floor is usually pretty vacant.

IAH Polaris lounge (or is it C North United club?) opens tomorrow (10 or11 May 2017?)

Apologies if it has already been posted or spoken, but I just spoke with a UC agent that told me the Polaris lounge in Houston will open tomorrow, May 10th.

Is this true? I would have expected some kind of announcement of so. (I'm flying into IAH on Polaris tomorrow so it's exciting if true)

This is not the IAH Polaris lounge. The C North United club that has been closed for renovations is supposed to open today.
