I meant that would be the first ETOPS flight since the 772 resumption

UA5 is showing up in the flight status search. It shows that all cabins are full, even thought the seat map isn't even close to full. I wonder if they do not want to sell any additional tickets to minimize disappointed passenger or possible compensation.

Possibly with a severe weight restriction? It would have a lot fewer pax than full because the originally scheduled frame was less dense. ORD-HNL is the limit of the frame's range when fully loaded with pax and cargo and is about 700mi shorter.

Considering this was scheduled for a 789 with 257 seats, and then got switched to a 772 with 362 seats, that probably explains why they are not selling additional seats on the flight.

UA 5 left a few minutes late and showed two gate upgrades to business, which, of course, went out full. The return flight tomorrow looks like a very light load in economy. Hopefully they won’t have to make a fuel stop.
