I have many Naval Academy classmates who are pilots with AA, DL & UA. They are approaching the mandatory retirement age of 65. They are part of a large cohort.
Incidentially, what work schedule do all those employees kept on the payroll actually follow, given significantly reduced operations? some part-time arrangements? or just 100% out of the work force?
