The oatmeal bowl is the size of the fruit bowl that comes with the croissant thing. The oatmeal's fruit bowl is larger, with about 30% more fruit.

Total oatmeal + fruit (ignoring the chobani) feels like about 50% of the calories of the sandwich + fruit. Tastes pretty good.

Looks like what I recall being served in Australia as "Bircher muesli".

That was the first time I had seen Proscuitto on transcon and definitely the worst app I've had. I'd rather have smoked duck/smoked chicken for the 100th time compared to that.

The appetizer is just sad. If it weren't for the "clean and pristine" plate, I'd say it's already half eaten. It almost looks like a leftover.

100% was the saddest appetizer I've had on UA. The proscuitto piece was more fatty than meaty and I love cheese, but the proscuitto with that was a salty overload.

Looks like they got the short rib right, though.

I was trying my hardest to run away from it as best I could. Though the 1K and GS, unfortunately, ran faster than I did. They ran out of chicken by the time I got my choice. I'd rather not eat beef for religious reasons, but if I have no other choice, then there's no other choice.

Really? It looks like a fatty, revolting blob to me.

the lipstick with the beef was fairly tasty through I will say it was somewhat fatty. But most of it was perfectly alright. Like I said before I don’t eat beef much for religion so I’m no expert on what makes a good beef or not, but if this helps:

Thanks. I can see blobs of fat. Looks bad to me. Glad you enjoyed though!

You could have ordered something from the Bistro Menu such as the Mezze Sampler. They'd be happy to accommodate you.

I definitely didn't eat all of it due to that exact reason, some portions of it were just too fatty. And I'd rather get my fat sampler through an ice cream sundae and snickerdoodles than this

I actually prefer some of the bistro items to some of the transcon menu items, but it just didn't come to mind as I was hoping there wouldn't be as many GS/1Ks as there turned out to be. And all of them pretty much ordered chicken. I'll try to avoid beef if I can and will always prefer the alternate meat, but if they already set it down in front of me, and there's no chicken remaining, then so be it.

Ewr - sfo in Business on the 78-9

great crew - food was the usual beef and beans and sweet mashed potatoes?

only complaint is that its 2:10 into the flight and just got my main!

Hate the delay on these transcons. My most recent flight was great, entire service was done within 1.5 hours of departure, amazing for transcon standards. But about 2 months back my ewr-lax transcon finished sundae service with less than 2 hours to go in flight which was ridiculous.
