They're never getting retrofitted...gotta pack in as many people as you can to send them to Hawaii!

Pretty sure those will stay for forseeable future.

Methinks your only hope is a sub or re-position flight.

Wow, N782UA retrofit turned around in 45 days! Is that the record so far?

And N787UA (entered 2/23) was scheduled a test hop for 4/2 which was canceled. That day's test hop is now N229UA (entered 2/3).

Has anyone noticed that over this weekend the pmUA/pmCO 772's have been cross scheduled onto each others routes on some days, specifically out of ORD-FRA (944 only)/PEK/PVG/HKG that used to be pmUA metal only? Is this just a temporary change or are the fleets going to be used interchangeably going forward?

I realize this may have to do with dedicating Polaris-reconfigured frames to certain routes due to Premium Plus launching this weekend, but the randomness across different days will make certainly avoiding the 2-4-2 J on the pmUA frames extremely difficult!

I believe it was noted in one of the threads that (in particular) you would start seeing pmCO 772s flying ex-ORD, which you hadn't really seen before. I believe this is in large part because of P+ rollout going live, meaning that retrofitted 772s (predominantly pmUA 772s) need to be available to fly on specified routes.

ORD-PEK is also on pmCO 777-200ER 77Y these days (they are even using same plane ORD-EWR occasionally it seems; probably to position some of them back to EWR?).

Yes, they are starting to move around as the "low priority" ORD routes with pmUA aircraft are getting the pmCO ones as the PE-equipped frames go elsewhere.
