I thought they'd be replaced by now, but there are still a bunch of 320s out there with these covers.

I saw that as emblematic of Smisek-era United: little to no project coordination, on-the-cheap finishes, degraded customer experience and a soulless, generic 'feel'.

Are the seat covers all that is different? The cushion felt more substantial too, but maybe that was placebo, or maybe an erroneous comparison to the 73_ slimlines.

N153GJ is in service (that was my mistake), but no scope violation. N154GJ and N163GJ both exited service 12 hours before the first two E175SCs entered service. Those two frames will assuredly be the first 2 to be converted. N163GJ is being painted first.

The cushion could be part of the cover, but regardless, the frame was the heavy lift and that's been done for years. The cover, cushion, whatever is an overnight swap.

Finally some good news on the UAX front, instead of endless CR2s entering service.
Be interesting to see which routes see the CR5s.

I'm guessing nobody got a look at the seatmap for N163GJ seat map to confirm?

319:
N876UA, Ex B-6040 arrived XMN 2713/21Jun. Ex China Southern unit that did it's last revenue flight on 4/13/19. Was flown from NRT to XMN, which is going away from the USA - could this mean XMN will do mod work on approximately 3 Ex China Southern 319s?
B-6018 has been idle since 6/10/19 and B6039 since 4/4. Could they be next? Other 11 units on the list still flying revenue today.

763:
N684UA, former N588HA did exit HKG 2745/21Jun in High J Polaris/PE. Moving to IAD today. No additional flights shown

I don't think the STC for the CR5 has yet been approved... it shouldn't take very long, though.

I am curious as to how long the mods will take per ship.

Interestingly, the new livery seems like it will be painted on at least one of the MAX8s currently at RNT (based on the tail paint), whilst two fully painted MAXs parked at BFI sport the old (current? hard to call it old at this point) livery.

RNT 0:25 and BFI at 1:20

772:
N218UA sked to exit XMN 2749/25Jun, fully expect Polaris/PE, would be 45 days in mod, tied for quickest.
Inbound unit, normally a GE772ER is sked with a PW772that already has Polaris/PE, so we'll have to wait on next one in. One would expect if sole mod line was to be halted through the Summer than N218UA would ferry out of XMN unless N792UA is due for maint.

N218UA now sked to exit XMN 2749/28Jun with Polaris/PE confirmed, will operate 896/28Jun
N792UA sked to enter XMN 2750/28Jun, this unit already has Polaris, maint visit? Takes 772PW Polaris mod line to zero?

Maybe old news, but UA has now suspended EWR-BOM and EWR-DEL until 9/1 due to airpspace closure in Iran and Pakistan. This pops a minimum of 1 full unit per route, although DEL was already pulled due Pakistan airspace.
Added lift on domestic services? Probably not going into added mod unit.
