Requal 2nd year. Noticed on mystatus today. Checked about 5x/day for the last month. Wasn't sure, but super glad because I paid 2 premium intl biz class tix in Nov/Dec out of pocket thinking it would get me over the threshold but knew it would be close (plus another paid J but it turned out to be bulk and i was UNHAPPY but now happy since I got more RDM on bulk and I requal'd...)

350k PQM (very low CPM. I either fly P/Z/D/C or G)
Home airport in system is SNA, but I rarely fly to or from there
I was debating moving premium travel this year to OAL but will obviously stick with UA since I requal'd. Their marketing wins again!

I was on a TPAC flight on the 31st in J and the purser stopped by to introduce himself and thank me for being GS. Given the number of times they've had incorrect info on the passenger manifest, I just chalked that up to a mistake. Fortunately, the new status was confirmed today on united.com.

As I logged on to my account after landing in Delhi, I see I'm now listed as GS. No email or gift that I know of, (I haven't been home since mid Dec.) But needless to say, excited to make it for the first time.

Ms. p_man requalified out of SFO. Found out on the phone tonight when she asked when notifications would start. Agent called over to MP team to verify, but it was also already on the status site. We were worried about it, as she was ~25k miles and $9k short of last year, which was already on the light side - no way would she make it w/o corporate sponsorship.
