Disappointing that warm vegetarian options are removed. The spinach pizza was a good compromise.

I felt the opposite - a pizza isn't great for anyone who's anything more strict than lacto-ovo, and quite a few people aren't too keen on spinach and garlic as pizza toppings.
I do agree though, a warm vegetarian friendly is badly needed, particularly on long transcon or Hawaii flights.
Edit: added the list with a few more details to the wiki.

Much appreciated for letting us know the updates for January 2018. I'd suggest that we start another thread for next quarter's BOB or perhaps retitle this one to be a running thread for updates and people reactions/feedback/visceral responses to BOB on UA.

Interesting, a UA FA who is also AA PLT. If true, really says something about UA.
Also, I tried the Uno's pizza-spinich one. It's was better than what AA used to offer for an Uno's pizza entree, but still not the same as going to Due's sitting on the outside patio on a nice Sept afternoon.

UA used to have a decent veggie meal option most of the time, even if it was cold, then stopped it, now is going back to basically cheese plate only if you’re a vegetarian, which isn’t really a meal.
Also disappointed they got rid of the Garret’s a couple of months ago

I thought about starting a new thread, but as this one has plenty of activity (even after the initial updates from OP), and the menu appears to now be changed monthly, I decided to stick with this one. A retitling might be in order, though, you're right.
In any case, I suppose they'd want me to give the usual spiel of these being my own opinions and that I am not speaking on behalf of my employer.
