Oh United, when will you ever learn? Violin incident @ IAH
No, it's not as bad as the good Dr., but certainly a bigger deal than the tennis racket nonsense.

As a former violinist, this makes me livid and goes directly against their own published policy.

Still wondering why people bother flying UA when it's obvious nothing has changed in how they treat paying passengers.

Because United has 4,496 Daily Departures and transported 143 Million passengers in 2016 (source: http://newsroom.united.com/corporate-fact-sheet)

I probably have a greater chance of getting killed or injured on the way to the airport than to get dragged off a united plane or have my violin case wrestled away from me.

Well, since Dr. (#Oxy4poon) Dao, United is up ~10 points.

So, no one who counts left.

Because people book travel based on -

1) Price

2) Routing

Nothing else matters.

And many of us are hub locked, as I am with AA.
