Yes. I also visited the Centurion Lounge. It’s a hike, but I like it. They sometimes have a chef in the mornings making omelets.

Quite a few lounges permit entry on arrival. For example T2 in SIN.

I've never tried the CL when flying UA at MIA because I thought you couldn't get airside from H/J to D/E and vice-versa -- is that the case?

Right, several international PP lounges allow that, but most US domestic ones do not and on the PP page for the lounge (like TK in MIA) say:
Access is permitted 3 hours prior to scheduled flight departure

I don't use PP lounges a lot via PP, but I feel like they often ask to scan my departure bp.

Last time I was there, I tried to enter on my UA BP (just arrived). The agent denied entry, but said if I had Priority Pass I could enter. I found my card, and was admitted!
