As a GS I don’t look past the first page too often, but I was about position 10 on the waitlist on a DCA-IAH flight in November. And I seem to end up #1 on the list on that route often. I suppose all the other GS’s pay for F. Senator Cruz flies in the back. Based on his position on the upgrade list I’d estimate that he is Gold.

It is CES time in Las Vegas. The whole city is parked to the gills. It is a week I won't go downtown or to the strip for anything. I did go down there one year to make some pictures for a client and it was a real nightmare.

The upgrade list had 93 names on last Friday's ORD-SFO 4:05 PM flight. A 1K standing near me while waiting to board showed me his boarding pass for a middle seat in economy.

Hardly compares to some of the other lists, but kind of comical anyway.
IAD-RDU a few days ago on a CR7 (6 seat F cabin, 4 booked, 2 avail). I was 16/29. 29 waiting to upgrade on a 50 seat RJ.

This is by no means the longest I have ever seen - was on a flight out of SFO a couple of years ago where the list was in excess of 100 names, but on a SAN-ORD flight on a Sunday morning at 6.30 am on a A319 the number of names is 25. Not a hub to hub flight and on a Sunday morning. Not including the 12 FC seats out of 114 seats (and it is fully booked) that is more than 20% of the pax on the upgrade list. Although not as high a percentage as JimInOhio on the DFW-IAH flight I am surprised at the number. My 1K son is #7 on the list (it is a CPU for him). As there are only 7 booked out of 12 I am thinking he is going to enjoy E+
