1K to Platinum and closing in on 2MM

Gold down to Silver.
Usually take 2 EWR-HKG flights a year in J on UA which would pretty much get me to Gold. This year I treated myself to one of the flights on CX in J. Hence, I am now Silver..... but the CX flight was well worth it... |
2014 1k -> 2015 1k
Have ~80K miles already planned for 2015, so should make 1k for 2016 as well. Probably will get to 2MM this year also, after that might consider switching to DL, given their growth in SEA and better service the few times I've flown them. |

Just started flying more last year and decided to try loyalty with UA. All domestic F with about 4 TATL in Y. |
2008-Jan 2015 CO Plat / UA 1K
Was traveling on business 2008-2010 and then commuting TATL 2010-2013. Decided to live and work in NYC in 2013 so little flying in 2014, got to about 20k from personal trips to use up my GPU's in 2014, but did not bother to try for Silver. Fying based on cheapest carrier / best service now for personal travel unless I am burning my UA miles on non UA *A awards. Am at around 875k on UA for MM so will try and put some paid miles on UA to get that at some point, but likely only if i get another job involving travel. |

2011: CO Gold 2012: 1K 2013: Plat 2014: 1K 2015: Plat Most of my travel is for business, with a mix of domestic US and international. I was one TATL or TPAC short of making 1K for 2015. Plenty of PQD's as one might expect for paid C/Z on the international flights. No issues in getting mileage or PDQ credits. Dropping simply due to reduced business travel demand. |
2013 Platinum
2014 Gold 2015 Gold MM Would have been platinum in 2012 but I don't think it existed. Only had 47K eqm in 2014, but kept gold by inching over 1MM; otherwise would have dipped to silver. Never did a mileage run. |
I maintained the same status as last year: Silver.
The reason is that after getting status, it gave me an incentive to consolidate most of my mostly leisure travel in one airline. But the big reason I'm not dropping back down despite new qualification hurdles is that I'm starting to do more travel for work than I ever used to. That's been crucial for the PQD requirement, otherwise I wouldn't have qualified for this year and wouldn't be on my way to re-qualifying for 2016. |

Plat to Gold for 2015
Main reason is that UA discontinued SEA-ANC (and prices connections at twice market rates). It is my only regular route, so a quarter of my miles and half my dollars have shifted to DL. |
Dropped from Gold to No Status, Switched business to Delta early last years and I am happily enjoying Platinum Status on that airline. UA Lost revenue $9,000 in 2014.
This should be changed to a poll Reduced Status Increased Status Reduced Status due to MQM Reduced Status due to moving to another carrier |

1 K to premiere platinum
i flew 110 PQM in 2015. I live in Europe and for some reason had an american address on the account. So my PQD weren't enough and i dropped. I asked costumer service to give me 1 K back .. they said i need to prove i lived in Europe the whole 2015 (which I can do). They are considering, I am waiting.
