(1) If your status remained the same from 2014 to 2015 or changed on Feb, 1. 2015 (the status changeover date). (What is your status?) Same, 1K (2) What were the reasons your status changed, or remained the same on Feb. 1 ?... please expound in some detail FOR THE MOST RELEVANT TOP REASONS FOR YOU...... I barely made 1K in 2013. I made it by August in 2014 and continued to about 250k PQM. I did a lot more stuff in Asia (almost all NH) and added some Europe (UA or LH). Company requires all flights overseas to be business class (rough policy). (3) Did you have any particular difficulties in maintaining or increasing your 2014 status for 2015? Nope. I targeted my flying around top tier UA partners with 1.5x PQMs for Business class (AC, NH, LH, LX, 1.25x on AI in 2014). I was worried about PQD but ended up with $22k+ and spent $0 with UA flying 5x to Asia |

Decreased: Gold -> No Elite Status (2) What were the reasons your status changed, or remained the same on Feb. 1 ?... please expound in some detail FOR THE MOST RELEVANT TOP REASONS FOR YOU...... 1) Moved to DCA and direct flights/not having to trek to IAD overweighs E+ benny's. 2) Also, haven't had a CPU in ~2 years (use miles for intl J/F, so *G isn't too much of a benny) (3) Did you have any particular difficulties in maintaining or increasing your 2014 status for 2015? Not in particular. Would go back to UA if travel aligns with their flights, but there isn't much to keep me sticky with the airline above that. |
