Well I cannot sign in at all to the system on either united.com or unitedairlines.co.uk. Something is up I suggest ! The mobile app is fine.

I book a trip yesterday and in spite of charging my credit card for the ticket the system told me I needed to purchase the ticket in order to keep the reservation.
I called UA and they forced the sale through. Later in the day when I went to check the receipt it gave me a receipt for a year old ling past flight.

I got a bunch of receipts for reservations made this morning at about 4:00 PM central time. Came all at once despite being booked over the course of an hour or so.

Receipt functionality down, or am I really not ticketed?
Hi All,
I booked a reservation 25 hours ago, and so far have not received my receipt and ticket number, just the "processing the reservation" email.
1. In the "processing" email, it says to wait 3 hours, then contact UA. The link there just takes me to Ask Alex... which, since I value my time (but UA does not), I refuse to spend any more time fighting with (Don't take me to the same page that sent me to you, Alex).
2. I've requested receipts two more times to different email addresses-- nada so far.
3. When I click "View Receipt" on .bomb, I get an "eTicket Receipt Error", which tells me it may take 15 minutes to generate. (p.s., we're 24.75 hours past that metric, Alex)
4. I waited on and off hold for 35 minutes with the phone rep while they tried to view my reservation so they could request the receipt... then they hung up on me.
5. .bomb does say "This reservation was ticketed and confirmed on Sat., Jan. 18, 2014 at 1:47 a.m. Central Time."
6. I cannot check in online or by mobile.
So-- should my money be that SHARES actually DID process the reservation, and I can go to the airport in the morning? The flight is no longer available for booking-- so it may be an interesting morning at the airport if I don't really have a seat.
Anyone else having similar troubles? Any solutions aside from calling back and dealing with more even more inCOmpetence?

There is something broken right now. I made a change to a reservation a couple hours ago, and the agent got the ticket reissued while I was on the phone, but said it'd be a while before I got an email because things were messed up at the moment.
I still haven't gotten the email or the itinerary email I tried to have emailed to myself.

+1 I have a schedule change I accepted and then requested a revised Itinerary & Receipt - to three different emails over the course of Saturday and none of them have been delivered.
