Receipt functionality down, or am I really not ticketed?
Hi All,
I booked a reservation 25 hours ago, and so far have not received my receipt and ticket number, just the "processing the reservation" email.
1. In the "processing" email, it says to wait 3 hours, then contact UA. The link there just takes me to Ask Alex... which, since I value my time (but UA does not), I refuse to spend any more time fighting with (Don't take me to the same page that sent me to you, Alex).
2. I've requested receipts two more times to different email addresses-- nada so far.
3. When I click "View Receipt" on .bomb, I get an "eTicket Receipt Error", which tells me it may take 15 minutes to generate. (p.s., we're 24.75 hours past that metric, Alex)
4. I waited on and off hold for 35 minutes with the phone rep while they tried to view my reservation so they could request the receipt... then they hung up on me.
5. .bomb does say "This reservation was ticketed and confirmed on Sat., Jan. 18, 2014 at 1:47 a.m. Central Time."
6. I cannot check in online or by mobile.
So-- should my money be that SHARES actually DID process the reservation, and I can go to the airport in the morning? The flight is no longer available for booking-- so it may be an interesting morning at the airport if I don't really have a seat.
Anyone else having similar troubles? Any solutions aside from calling back and dealing with more even more inCOmpetence?
Sorry as well for any negative tone. Frustrated by how hard it can be to give this company money sometimes.
