Down from 375K to 125K in the past week; meanwhile, my AA and SPG (transfer partner of AA) balances are higher and growing

Note to RobS..."a couple of summers ago" was a recent high water mark for UA (prob both for PMCO and PMUA)...things aren't going so hot these days

A paltry 10K left.

Just used over 100K to book RT's and 4 hotel nights around a cruise for Mrs. Briz and myself. I figured after reading all the deval posts on here, I might as well "use 'em before I lose 'em".

At 194K now, and hopefully 300K next year. New partner award rates don't compute when the wife is already planning to go back to Thailand - just need to earn more miles

I typically bounce between 200k and 300k. Right now I'm pushing 300k but will burn most of them soon.

1. 2 round trip (hopefully saver) 1st tickets Boston-Atlanta for a friend's honeymoon.
2. 2 round trip (hopefully saver) 1st tickets Portland Maine to SFO for my parents.
3. 2 round trip (hopefully saver) 1st tickets SFO-Boston for my wife and I

That said, I earn about 500k a year so I'll be back to where I am in no time.

I have about 500k. I am trying to figure out how to book flights and use up most of my miles early next year before the devaluation hits.

A metric might be
- Account total / annual usage
or
- Account total / annual earn rate

I have high 6-figure account balance and ratios are typically in 3 to 4 range.

I have 800k+ and will add about 100k before end of year.

I've intentionally saved up to take the wife and I on two major vacations. The burn is about to begin.....

Wirelessly posted (iPhone 5: Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; CPU iPhone OS 7_0_3 like Mac OS X) AppleWebKit/537.51.1 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/7.0 Mobile/11B511 Safari/9537.53)

I'm down to 5,634 after going through ~850,000 in the last 11 months. Seriously evaluating going exclusively to AA next year. The only thing keeping me back is the pending merger.

Was about 300K, will be less than 50K after Feb/14 and remaining will be spent only for south asia-au travel which will cost less.
