Agree...as a organization, our AA EXPs clear at nearly 95% on the routes they fly...personally, I have only missed one upgrade this year due to a couple of broken seats in F...but was compensated with three seats to myself in Y, a F meal and beverages and an apology and a generous cert sent by mail the next week...All I can say is AA is trying to keep me happy!...UA, not so much... where I am 2 for 10 on CPUs and 1 for 3 on GPUs.

CPU cleared at 120 hours
Just received e-mail notice that my CPU cleared on Saturday evening when my flight is this coming thursday. Probably have to do with the orgin-destination (LIH-LAX). No grumble here.

Y was definitely not oversold on my flight. All standbys cleared and there were still quite a few empty seats in Y. Mine was definitely block for upsell.

One additional bit of info from flight 276 ORD-FLL tonight 4/21. F on the mobile app just went from 6 booked and 4 blocked on an A320 to booked full. My 1K partner was not one of those upgraded (or whatever) today. Smells like TODs.

Things have not improved for me this year. 4 upgrades, 15 segments.

I am 2/8 on CPUs (mainly transcon), 3/3 on RPUs and 1/1 on TATL GPU.
I was 31/32 as a DL DM. - But no choice EWR is homebase now.

I missed SFO-DEN as a 1K. I was like 25th on the list on an L fare on a Monday morning. Totally my own fault.

Still shooting 85% upgrades with 34 CPUs out of 40 upgradeable domestic flights year to date.
I buy BF seats for international.

There were 3 pages of CPUs on Sunday! After around 10 got moved up, I was still at 30-something spot. Didn't notice any duplication names on flight standby list.
I purposely picked this flight, thinking there are more F seats available in 777. Oh well.....K fare, not complaining for not sitting up front.

Believe me I thought long and hard about that and even tried for a while. No traffic: 20 min to EWR, 60 min to JFK. Traffic: 40 min to EWR, 2+ hours to JFK. And in NYC traffic is the norm.
Plus, I do half my TATL flying on SAS , so *A it had to be.
