Boeing 757-300 (753)
Seat map (24Domestic F seats/55E+/134E configuration)
Entertainment -- now 100% personal device entertainment (DirecTV has been removed)
WiFi (Internet access for a fee)
Power -- F & E+ , none in regular economy
1A/B has a great cutout for extra foot space, 1E/F has no cutout and may be tight for taller passengers.
New Slimline 753s
This link Interim 757-300 seat map shows a strange interim seat map that you might want to consult if the one(s) above do not match what you are seeing on United.bomb.
See the bottom of the Wiki there for warnings about seat selection.

There is no 7D, only 7ABC
If the question is about 20C/D, they have increased legspace due to the emergency exit -- 3-4 inches over the normal E+, but much less then 7ABC.
Row 20 is a no recline row.

I just booked seat 33F for ORD-SFO Saturday morning and there are no economy aisle seats left. Anyone have experience with either 33A or 33F? I am 6'3 and like to be able to get up and move around, if possible. 33D is available for an additional 177$ on this segment with other E+ aisle seats up front for 154$ and I'm trying to decide if it is worth it to fork out the extra money.

It's up to an individual whether it's worth $154 to avoid.

First class seat worse than 737 coach
Omg, never sat in such an uncomfortable first class seat. Flew HNL-SFO redeye. Only platinum but upgraded at 73 hour window? Must be 1K and GS know better than to fly this bird. In addition to the bad seat, did not have the seatback entertainment that was claimed in United's email the day before the flight. Others in FC, including a couple who paid for FC, were unhappy at having to use personal device entertainment.

Passengers feel the door area is a great place to wait for the lav at 7C, which you will hear and may smell, plus no storage in front of you. 21A longer to unload, may be out of menu item you want, and increased risk of seat bumping/pulling by E- people behind you. I personally would opt for 21, but a potential tight connection might find me enduring 7.
7C has a great view of where you'd rather be...

For a flight SFO-MCO I have to choose between 757-300 Economy Plus or First (price difference about 100$, I'm unsure after reading all the posts)
and a 737-800 Economy Plus.
Any newer suggestions which would be best? I do not travel within US often, so thx for advice in advance!

- fly in E+ on a 738
- fly in E+ on a 753
- fly in F on a 753 and pay $100 extra?
I would fly F, and it's not even close. I think I have a slight preference for the 753 in E+ but they're both pretty meh.

Well, price for the flights are:
738 E+ = 470$
753 E+ = 430€
753 First = 530$ (price rose a little)
As it is a 5 hrs flight I wonder if F is worth it. I'd like to have more room and free movies etc.
Does "...it's not even close" mean that you think F is the best choice? Sorry for asking, but some expressions in English are not clear to me...
Thanks again for your help.

430 euro = $507 so differential between economy and first is virtually nill plus your bags will fly free, you’ll get a real meal, boarding privileges and a MUCH more comfortable seat and decent service for F-I-V-E hours, this is an extreme example of UA desiring to upgrade kettles aka high-value fliers, the decision is OBVIOUS. This is why there are no upgrades for elites.

Yes, that's what findark meant. And I concur. You may be used to Euro business. Domestic F is much better (at least in terms of comfort). It will be 2x2 (as opposed to 3x3 in economy) with 38" of pitch. If you can get 1A or 1B, the legroom is basically unlimited.

Edit: Just booked the F in Seat 1A as recommended. Thx a lot!!
