transcon HOD offer: LAX-BOS $299 from a K fare (for context, the K fare was $149 all in). at time of booking, the difference was ~$475. i was offered $413 several times before 24h.
declined all. eastbound with a monster jetstream, i rode 20C with 20B empty for 4.5 hours. eeeeeeasy ride! westbound, i might take a $299. (actual westbound, i spent 17.5k on a mileage upgrade BOS-DEN-BUR. BOS-DEN was about 8 minutes shorter than LAX-BOS.) |

660 on 1/20, $249, passed. There were 6 open F seats when I checked in, 12 hours later all booked.

The offer for EWR-SFO ps from V class to Business is $299 for my 1K friend after check-in. Declined. He hopes that the RPU upgrade will be cleared.

LAX - ORD from L class to P class - $199 - took it. I was planning in economy to get Directv, lunch and a drink or two, so figure $30 I would have spent back there. So effectively $169 for a 4.5 hour flight.
