Currently in United Club in ewr. When I arrived, 6 people total. Maybe 15 now, 450pm. Same service, all prepackaged small snacks, full bar. Airport is eerily empty.

The regular United Club, not Polaris, correct?

Currently in EWR club. Fewer than 20 customers. One addition to the food is individually wrapped fresh brownies. At least they're trying!

330pm currently in EWR Club. Maybe 20 people tops. They've added peanut butter and jelly sandwiches to the offerings! At least they're trying. I think I'll grab one for my flight.

How far are you going on a single PBJ?

I think this is fantastic news - if the average age of a United Club member was 7.

Would it really kill them to put a slice of turkey or salami and cheese with a tomato? Those old salami and pesto cups of the old days would do just fine stuffed inside of a small roll.

Exactly. I've told numerous people about my recent trips through the United Club and have joked that it felt like I was in pre-k! Applesauce in squeezable bags! Goldfish! String cheese! The inner child in me is ecstatic. The adult, that pays for this nonsense, not so much...especially when both Delta and American are serving fresh food in their clubs.

Newark United Club Lounge During COVID

Hi Everyone,

I'm flying to Orlando in late September and was thinking of using my cc one-time pass at the club lounge. Does anyone know if they are taking the one-time passes and what the lounge experience is like these days? Any info is useful.

Thanks!

Took 'em long enough....

Listed as near Gate C93. On the map, it is confirmed as a "pop up".
I am not through EWR next week. Be interested in some reports of what is on offer.

Pop up at 93 is open and in use, limited hours (3:30-7:30pm, during the evening peak). Beer, wine, prosecco at tended bar, self-serve soft drinks same as before. The same packaged (cold) items as the 75 club are available, like tortellini salad, farro, hummus, just no hot burritos.

Thanks for the report. That's what I was expecting, and will make use of it when appropriate. Finally some slight relief to the overcrowding.
Crazy it took them so long.

For those traveling through EWR, has the pop up even relieved much crowding from the c74 lounge? Those pop-ups are sizable but only stocked with the bare minimums.
