Wish I'd written down the old number...

... but it couldn't have been more than 130,000--I only hit the 100k BIS mark in September of 2009, and a lot of my flights in the last two years have been on CO and US. Either way, I'm now at 203,000 miles and change. That's about what I expected.

Add in 110,000-plus lifetime miles on CO, and MM status is still years and years away. But not quite as many as before.

Went from 780,XXX to 1,036,XXX, so a 300k bump for me.

Feels good to be in the club

I went from 108,5xx to 115,7xx lifetime United, mostly as a kettle on hub hostage leisure flights out of LAX. I guess this will help a little when added to my 1.1 million miles on Continental.

Nope, the bump is for the 2012 program rules. 2011 required actual BIS.

Went from 1.048M to 1.396M. All the DEQM promos I did in the past came back for me.

Nowhere close enough for me to ever see 2M.

You may be able to register sooner (I did a more or so ago) but the benefit will not start for a few months.
True, but always nice to get that registration process underway ASAP, for who knows what kind of bizarre delays will be involved between registration submission and extension of companion benefits.

For example, it would suck to wait til the 2012 program goes live, register, only to find "4-5 weeks processing time" is involved.

I had a decent increase from around 259,000 to about 322,000, an addition of 63K miles or a 24 % increase. I have another 39K with CO. 1 MM is still quite far away for me, but I'm aiming for platinum in 2012. I expect to hit 1 MM in about 9-10 years.

My lifetime flight miles increased by 260410 miles - not too bad!

Wonder if the lifetime miles from CO got counted too? There were not that many anyhow.

On my way to 2MM.

Posted late this morning (pacific time).
Mainly based on this last year, where I flew almost 260,000 miles in my new job/position helping manage EMEA for my company.
About 150k on UA, 110k on CO, and new calibration this morning shows:
Lifetime flight miles 1,117,952

I'm actually more excited about if I'll get the invite to Presidential / GS equiv.
CO used to send these emails out with a clear defining of the spend cut-offs for invite, and since a chunk of my miles were full-fare business class to Europe with less than a week's notice, hoping I'm enough of a cash cow for them to push me up

Checked my account last night. I went from 2,595,00 to 3,296,000 - very nice - looks like I might actually make 4M in a few years :-)

Mine went from 87k to 1.12k. A very nice New Year surprise indeed.
