Yep. Not at all. Pratts all the way.
They also do not have E+ as of today, the IFE in Y you get charged for on Domestic flights, and the seats make a boulder sound comfortable. |
luv it! ^
Keep in mind these were the replacement planes to the 727 yet Boeing didn't realize how over powered they were and the work horse they could become for airlines given range and capability from small runways. I think given a proper overhaul to avod, wifi, overhead bins, galley vs lav placement with new seats in all Classes including lie flat up front these have many more years of flying enjoyment. If I were creating an airline this is my bird of choice especially long hauls. |
PMCO 752s have free AVOD on Domestic and International flights. I haven't flown on a PMCO 753 in a long while so I cannot comment/defend it in any way. I do have to say for short jumps (EWR-UK & coastal Europe) 752 jets are a great craft in both J & Y.

I agree with most of the other posters. I love the large F cabin, the separate boarding where economy turns right and F turns left and the number of "good" seats when not upgraded.

I have seen some really dingy united 757s, and yet I still enjoy flying on it. |

Clearly, the 757-300 is a godawful plane. 35+ rows of coach. I don't think anything other than a 747 or A380 offers that long a walk back

Before I was elite, I hated 757s, because it takes forever to get to the back, and even longer to get off again.
Now I'm elite... hey, there's good seats in E+, and with 24 first class seats I remain hopeful that one of these days I'm gonna get a UDU... |
First is always great, coach sucks with the 31 inch seat pitch. I could not imagine flying coach for more than 4 hours unless the middle seat was free, or in the exit row.

Biggest drawback could be for those of us who travel with young kids: no changing tables in the lavatories. Changing a kid in there is like trying to corral a buttered pig in a closet. I have no idea how a plane that size wasn't designed with fold-down changing tables!

I like them. Good sized first class with good upgrade chance and you can turn left and don't have the whole economy cabin passing you like on some other planes (767 being one of them).

The 753s still have the drop down monitors every few rows.

The 753s, on the other hand, are called the slave ship for a reason. That extra section in the back is downright scary. :D

A330s as operated by Hawaiian Airlines (others?) have 40+ rows, and only 3 of them are FC.
I really like the PMUA 757s. They are a bit worn, but I love the layout and large F cabin. If I can't get an upgrade, I can almost always get row 16 (now 21?) and a huge amount of legroom. |
