Just had email from TK so looks like the spartan catering is here for a bit longer.

Updated information regarding catering services

Protecting the health of passengers and employees on our aircraft is our utmost priority. In line with other coronavirus-related measures, we have made temporary changes in our catering services. To minimize contact between crew and passengers in accordance with health recommendations, we have prepared sanitary packed meals for contactless in-flight dining.
  • Our catering sets offer single-use products.
  • Water is available on domestic flights and international flights of up to 2 hours.
  • Catering packages or boxes offered on international flights of more 2 hours, will differ according to flight class and distance.
  • Special meal options are not available at this time. These include meals requested due to health status, religious beliefs, or nutritional preferences.
  • We have introduced certain restrictions on the variety of beverages on our flights. All drinks are offered in single-serve packages.
  • We look forward to again welcoming you with our rich food and beverage options as soon as possible. We wish you healthy and safe travel.

No further information.

I changed all my bookings to Qatar . As long as TK will not provide normal services on long haul routes I am going to continue this way. Also their handling of short term cancellations (without early announcement) is no longer acceptable. Qatar is the new old choice of travel (for me south east asia)under this bad TK circumstances.

Same here, under these circumstances. I would not fly TK on long-haul or when any better service/price combination is available on short-haul and domestic.

Same here.
Especially since the recent status match from M&S Elite+ to Privilege Club Platium its time to test QSuite.
But we are waiting until Qatar re-opens the Al Safwa First Lounge in Doha.

No, the same catering concept stated in the WIKI is active.
In long-haul J, you would still receive pre-packaged boxes.

Thankyou for the update. Some slight improvement with the addition of the nuts!
Is that a small red wine in your seat pocket please?
Also what is the yellow and white thing also in the seat pocket?
Thanks!

Are any of the fresh juices being served, or at least the lemonade/fresh OJ?

Obviously no,
Everything is being served in single use bottles or cans. For juice, you would probably get one of Dimes’s 200 mL single use juices.
