Through-check bags? IST transit on 2 separate TK tickets

Just to provide another data point for anyone who stumbles across this thread, the same way that I did. I am flying IST-BKK tonight on TK followed by BKK-SIN on SQ and it was no problem to get my luggage checked through to Singapore...

Hi guys, i am going on a trip with a ticket of HKG-IST-FCO-HKG and I am staying at Istanbul for 1 week.
I am wondering if I buy another separate domestic ticket IST-DNZ-IST, which DNZ-IST will arrive 2 hours before my IST-FCO depart, will my baggage be able to checked through from DNZ to FCO? Thank you so much.

It is entirely up to the agent that you talk to at ATL. Nobody in here will be able to give you a firm answer. The 2 flights in your first itinerary and A3 operating the last leg doesn't speak in your favour, but give it a try.
