Zoom appointments open. Grab while they last!

Just signed up for Appointment Scanner for my fiancee. She was approved a couple of weeks ago but the first PHL interview wasn't until late February. Trying to get an interview before Christmas since she has to fly and I want her to have PreCheck.
I've had five slots open at EWR but none in PHL. Wonder why PHL is so bad (no int'l flights yet?). |
Good morning, I wonder if the experts could advise? I was provisionally accepted for the TTP on 26 october 2020. Since then haven’t of course been able to get in to the United States. Now have a trip planned for New Year with an overnight stop at JFK, a connection in LAX and final arrival in Tucson, Arizona. Checking every day each of those three places for appointments without success (earliest is Feb.2022 and i will be back home in Europe by then). My questions are 1. Can i take an appointment somewhere near Tucson during my holiday (i.e. doesn’t have to be immediately upon landing in the US? 2. How much longer do i have before the provisional acceptance expires 3. What about just doing a walk’in appointment 4. I am unclear what documents i need to take (just a proof of residence in Switzerland?)
THANK YOU |

THANK YOU https://www.flyertalk.com/forum/trus...t-arrival.html JFK is listed as an active GE enrollment on arrival location. I would post your question there to see if your travel plans give you a decent chance on completing your interview when you get to JFK. |

You need to check on the enrollment on arrival thread.

Thanks Cheltzel! Will do that now. But how about just taking an appointment at Nogales in Arizona. I can drive there during my stay and they seem to have lots of availability. Does that work too?
Thank you TWA884. Good links that I am looking at now. I'm still unclear about whether I am allowed to book an appointment elsewhere though, somewhere 'not' on my flight itinerary, like Phoenix or Nogales. I'll be in Arizona long enough to get an appointment and drive over there. I'm just not clear whether these appointments need to be carried out 'as you step off the plane, passport in hand' or if they can be carried out any time I am in the US (I'm not a US citizen btw). thank you again ! |

In fact, make a GE interview appointment now, and then do EoA if it happens to work out on your travel day. A successful EoA interview will automatically cancel an upcoming regular interview appointment for you. |

You need to look at your travel plans and decide what is the most effective way for you to complete the interview process. If your arrival terminal at JFK is an active EOA location and if you have a decent connection interval (my guess is 3 or more hours), I would try to do an EOA when you get to JFK. I would also see if there is a convenient interview time at Nogales (or any other available interview location within easy driving distance). If you find an interview time available there, I would book that as a backup. This way you will do your interview at JFK if it works out. But you won't need to be stressed about it as you have a backup once you get to your eventual destination. If you do this and compete your interview at JFK, make sure you cancel your interview at the backup location as a courtesy to others looking for available interviews. |

Just a my thoughts on your situation. This basically is a restatement of what mnbp just posted.

So having just gotten our fam of 4 conditionally approved, now looking at JFK and when I used the link in the wiki above about availability at JFK, literally nothing shown for JFK.
Is this a situation where I should check every day to see what opens as things open up at JFK? Next int'l trip is Feb2022 and were hoping to have GE by then but I guess we could do EOA when we arrive. But I was hoping that would be a last resort. |

PHL just released a ton of appointments. I'm guessing they are ramping back up with the borders open again.
