I just noticed my interview appointment is set for 8PM this coming Sunday, whilst the CBP office for my city lists that time as outside their normal hours. Is it normal to have interviews occur outside CBP’s normal hours?

I was curious to see what openings JFK had, the GE site notes Feb. 4 as the next available--but, tomorrow, Dec. 31 does have availability.
About 6 months ago JFK had so many openings that one could schedule a same day interview. Have they cut back on agents available for interviews?

Just got a Sunday morning interview slot in February for Boston, which advertises their global entry hours as M-F 7am-3pm. Don't want to show up to a closed office, but it would be great to get done without having to take time off from work. Looking at their schedule in May they don't show any other weekend slots.

Was the Boston office actually open for a weekend interview?

I applied for family of 4, daughters are 10 and 12, on Thursday night, 1/2/2020, got CA for all of us last night 1/4/2020 (nice birthday present for me, lol). Now to see the availability of interviews. . . .

Got an appointment in RI (we live in Southern MA so more convenient than Boston) for March 18, but only one appointment available, so I took it for myself. Not sure what to do about the other three, the next available interview is in May. Boston has next available on June 15. Guess will just have to keep checking for availability, just tough when kids are in school. . .

There is a slot open in BOS at 15:30 today (01/05 as of 13:45), if you are inclined to drive. Also, keep checking for slots opening up. My initial interview date was June 3rd in BOS. After a few hops, I have mine tomorrow morning.

Thanks for the heads up, unfortunately did not have time today. Anyway there would probably be riots here in the forum if I got CA and my interview all done in less than three days, lol. I will keep checking for availability. Have people had luck getting appointments for the parents and then just bringing the kids and hope the office takes all of you in, rather than trying to get 4 appointments (I know each is supposed to have a scheduled appointment)?

Mixed results have been reported in the Global Entry Walk-In Interviews thread.

This morning I was able to get an appointment for myself for 1/21 in RI, so that made my original 3/18 appointment available which I scheduled for my wife and then there was a 3/24 appointment available so did that one for one of my daughters. I figured I would talk to them at my appointment and see what they say about doing the two girls at the same time at one of the March appointments. Have a family trip in April, so trying to get all this done before that.

A bunch of slots (four per day?) opened up in Atlanta (ATL Airport/Terminal F) this morning for Late February and Early March (sorry for caps). They're filling up fast.

Is there a limit to how many times one can reschedule?
I initially found an appointment in SAT, but today something opened up in AUS and rescheduled immediately considering it is a shorter drive from DFW.
not to mention, the one i gave up now shows available in SAT, on 01/28.

You can reschedule interview appointments as often as you wish.

If any one is interested in getting an interview in Warwick, RI, I will be cancelling two appointments in March which I made for my wife and daughter. We were able to do walk ins there today. I just want to be sure to get the approvals before cancelling.

Man, if you are located in the Midwest this process is a huge mess. I am in Des Moines, and I have to drive a minimum of 4 hours to the nearest interview location, and the soonest available is mid-March.

My navigation app shows an approximately 200 mile journey from downtown Des Moines to MCI. (I drove 210 miles to ABQ for my interview, so I feel your pain.) But it’s not surprising that there are relatively few CBP officers (they do the interviews) stationed in the middle of the country.
