Keep searching for interview slots - particularly during GE office hours. Interview slots open up all the time.

Thanks, yeah, I plan on doing that--I just found it odd that NO available slots were listed for SFO.

Question about LAX/La Cienega GE interview office
Quick question for you guys in the Los Angeles area, I finally got my CA a few days ago and so far I have not been able to find out definitively if the LAX/La Cienega location is open.
According to the appointment site they are taking appointments but I read on a lot of post here on this forum thread that the La Cienega located is in fact closed or were closed. My questions: 1) Is the LAX/La Cienega location in operation now for GE interviews. 2) If they are open then do they accept walk-ins? Thanks! |

As far as walk in interviews, please discuss that issue in the relevant thread, Global Entry Walk-In Interviews. The wikipost in that thread does not have current data points for that location. My recollection is that members have recently reported availability in both the Long Beach and Otay Mesa locations. |

140 days to finish line
EOA at LAX was available, however, I chose to skip since I didn't want to risk missing connection. There was NO line at Mobile Passport while EOA had about 10-12 pax (Global Entry line), thus a viable option for those still awaiting CA. Just make sure to use the app immediately in the terminal since mobile reception is poor once you get to passport control.
I was able to reschedule an interview on 12/4/2019 at Otay Mesa (San Diego) border crossing the day before. Arrived 45 minutes early and interview was conducted 30 minutes early. Questions included business/personal travel, countries traveled, and why my wife didn't apply for GA. Was told that I was approved and given my KTN. This location has long hours (original interview scheduled at 7:15pm) and accessible by public transportation. This might be a viable option for SoCal applicants who are willing to take a trip to the border. Good luck to all.

CA: 11/17/2019 4 months or 123 days No available appointments in Chicago Field Office or O'Hare First available appointment in San Diego Otay Mesa Enrollment Center on 2/4/2020 As others noted, check constantly for newly available appointment slots as I was able to snag one on 12/20/2019 at Otay Mesa. Hopefully, I will be able to get Enrollment on Arrival on 12/2/2019 at LAX with a 2.5 hour connection. Good luck to all. |
Just got a Sunday morning interview slot in February for Boston, which advertises their global entry hours as M-F 7am-3pm. Don't want to show up to a closed office, but it would be great to get done without having to take time off from work. Looking at their schedule in May they don't show any other weekend slots.

I have now been conditionally approved. I will be in Boston from Dec 19 to Dec 27, then Ottawa Dec 27 to Jan 1st.
I went to schedule my interview and see: 1. There is nothing available in Boston until May 20, 2020. Boston does not do clearance on arrival 2. I cannot do clearance on arrival in Ottawa as my flight lands at 2030 and the centre closes at 1930 3. There are no slots available in Ottawa during my period I live in the UK rest of the year - how can I get an interview scheduled? |

Cancellation occurs frequently. Check frequently daily by doing a new search. Your chance is decent because some may opt to party at end of year instead of going in for an interview. Good luck and let us know your outcome. |

at Boston and/or... That being said, Enrollment on Arrival is a subject to be discussed in the referenced thread. |
And once again Boston is full through May, and they haven't opened June yet. Makes me wonder why they closed the federal building location in the north end. Clearly the facilities at Logan are unable to keep up with the sheer demand for GE in the region. Only other New England locations are 2 on the Canadian border (Derby Line, VT and Calais, ME) and Warwick, RI (1 mile up the road from PVD, why not in the new CBP facility they just built at PVD?) and that is booked until late April.

I went to Calais, Maine (a four hour drive for me) and they are apparently creating tourism in the area with this office. The officer said she has seen people fly over from as far away as California for the interview. It was better option for me than waiting six+ months for Boston, which is a two hour drive.

I've seen people waiting for a walk-in at BOS contemplate hopping a flight to EWR or JFK for a same day interview, but that's crazy if people are flying to BGR (which good chance means connecting), renting a car, and driving 2 hours each way to Calais to get their interview. Though makes me wonder, BGR has that big International Arrivals Building that mostly sits empty waiting for a diversion. I'm sure there's an empty corner in there, you could open an enrollment office.

Had set up my interview for 1/29 in Philly. Now a random spot opened up for this Sunday, the 29th, at 8:15PM. Totally random time but I took it. Let’s hope they’re not closed. 😂
