This extension should get you to April 2021. You now have 18 months from the conditional approval to complete the enrollment interview.

CBP Extends Temporary Closure of Trusted Traveler Program Enrollment Centers

In response to the COVID-19 outbreak, CBP extended the period of time that Trusted Traveler Program applications remain active. All applicants now have 485 days from the date of their application to complete the enrollment process. In addition, CBP will extend for up to 18 months the Trusted Traveler Program benefits of members who apply for renewal before their current membership expires.

New applicant today! UK background check and code recieved in less than 24 hours. Applied for GE today 01/06/2020

Judging by the thread my chances of being conditionally approved before my flight to the US in November is close to 0%?

Knowing the recent events in the US I would say that things can only be delayed further,,,,

I'm not holding out much hope for an answer before November

I'm in the UK, today 11th June 2020, I've had an email saying Conditionally Approved, application was 27th September 2019. I have to say I didn't expect to hear anything until after office re opened July 6th.

258 Days

Given the circumstances with Covid, does anyone know if it's possible to do the Global Entry interview at a US Embassy in the UK?

In the past, there has been a temporary Global Entry Enrollment Center at the US Embassy in London. Currently, none are scheduled.

Global Entry enrollments have been postponed until August 10th 2020 at the earliest. I believe Enrollment on Arrival is still available if you happen to be traveling to a location where it's supported and are conditionally approved.

Yes, Enrollment on Arrival is available.

From the Trusted Travelers Programs website:
Enrollment on Arrival remains operational at participating airports. For locations please visit https://www.cbp.gov/travel/trusted-t...llment-arrival.
In addition, interview deadlines have been extended to 545 days from the date of the conditional approval.
