Hello, I applied for infant daughter on July 29, 2019 (2 weeks after she was born). Still pending review. I called the BC nexus office and was told Canada passed her early September and just waiting on US CBP. I was told to call back if she was not conditionally approved by April 19th and they could file a "ticket". Not sure if that will speed it up but hopefully it doesn't come to that. We are all Canadian citizens and we go to Family cabin in the US 1-2 times per month.

Totally agreeing with you. Forum advised applying in winter for faster processing and to constantly check for possible cancellation for an earlier interview appointment date. Well, I applied Jan 13, 2020 , got conditionally approved Feb 25 and several rescheduling of interview dates later, got one, attended and received my final approval today, Feb 28, 2020

Took 31 business days for conditional approval, 2 days for interview appointment and actual interview was finished in under 10 mins.

Re interview, I was asked for driver’s license and passport, confirmed place of employment and what I did there. Asked the usual questions on country (countries) of citizenship, if I had any criminal activities or outstanding warrants and who if I travelled with anyone else. Also asking anticipated countries or places of future travels. I was NOT asked why I applied for the program. That’s it! Next was finger printing and picture taking, a brief verbal tutorial and I was on my way out. Email confirmation came as I was heading to the parking lot. Nexus Card was said to be expected in 5 business days.

i've posted a couple of messages recently with updates for approval, and as of this morning we are all finally approved. Myself, my wife and my 10month old all applied July 14. The 10 month old approved Feb 20, I was Feb 25 and my wife this morning March 2. So that was a slightly over 7 month to 7.5 month wait for us. Thrilled that wait is over and now off to the interview this weekend. Good luck everyone

Question for those who live in Toronto or GTA, passed interview and received your card. How long did it take for you to receive the card in mail? I was told on the interview that the card will arrive in 5 days. It has been 10 days already and still no card. Also maybe someone knows if Canadian cards are issued in Canada or USA? If they are issued in USA then of course it takes more than 5 days to arrive by mail. Thanks.

I believe they are sent from the US. The longest myself or any of my family have waited is 10 days including weekends. We live in Vancouver but I don't think there is much of a difference.

My two kids:

Applied: January 26/20
CA: March 6th
Earliest appointment date: April 15th (Ottawa)
Date of trip: April 25th

I may have to take them to Gananoque as they have plenty of appointments in March and early April.
