skemsley, sorry am still living in the past! Yes, it's been more than 90 days now and we are still waiting on conditional approval.
I guess i will reach out to them via email and see. I am actually applying after GE. I had to email them and the next day it got approved!
Let's try it here as well
*I just called 1-877-227-5511 stated on a message I got after I submitted status check request on TTP website and it played a recorded message that, "Due to lapse of appropriation our CBP center is closed. Hello we are closed!".
I also noticed that the Canadian website is showing a wait time of 39 days now for Nexus, I think I saw 35 earlier.
I guess we need to wait a bit longer. Did anyone else have their application approved during this shutdown?

gulrajb What email address do you have to check on this, is it with Canadian border services or US? I assumed that the US government shutdown is causing a lot of the problems here, the Canadian wait times may not account for any work stoppages for the US part of the approval.

Quick update:
US CBP responded pretty quickly and basically told me to wait for 3-5 months.
They referred to the following page:

The Canadian website says that their side is not impacted by shutdown, ofcourse, so they are asking people to come to interview as planned but will have to reschedule interview for US officers at a later time to complete the process. For some people it might give them an additional opportunity to visit Canada and for some it might be irritating lol.

This only works if you're already conditionally approved, which is what most of us seem to be waiting for. Since the conditional approval has to pass through both governments, that's likely at a standstill until the shutdown is over.

Mine still is "Pending Review" after about 2 1/2 months. My understanding is it's in the hands of the Canadian authorities as I have Global Entry already.

They don't automatically call you when it's ready.
Some people who applied by paper were conditionally approved for 1-2 months before they phoned in and found out about it.

Folks,
While some natural deviation is obviously OK, please let's keep the focus of this discussion on NEXUS first time applications processing timelines.
If you wish to further discuss issues with NEXUS paper applications, please do so in The NEXUS Information Thread.
Thank you,

They don't send a letter saying I should schedule an interview? Seems like a flawed system. According to the CBSA it says I should get a letter: https://www.cbsa-asfc.gc.ca/prog/nex...apier-eng.html

I was wrong to say that they don't send a letter, as some people did receive a letter. But you should call in.
