My flight is out of IAH, Term C at 11:30am. Anyone has been through the process can tell me if I take the 9am appointment out of Term E, I'd have enough time to make it to the flight? Any tips for hustling and bustling would be appreciated, am travelling with a 1-yr old.

Cheers.

Same with SFO - they have a sign there that says "appointments only, no walk-ins"
They seem to be very busy lately with the next appt 2 months out.
When I did my interview a few weeks ago there were at least 8 people waiting outside hoping for a earlier appt on the same day. Agent said they would likely be left waiting 2 hours if they didn't have any no-shows.
They had 4 agents doing the interviews at the time.

I logged in hourly and kept refreshing for earlier dates and found one 1 1/2 months earlier than the current 2 1/2 month delay at LAX.

Global Entry Walk-In Interviews ?

Anyone with successful Walk-in interview experience at BOS airport ?

Check GE's home page regularly--they are starting to open off airport offices (many downtown). Since these are relatively new, you probably could get an interview in one of these faster than elsewhere.

Whilst I had an appointment for later in the day, I tried for a walk-in at MIA this morning and had no problems. Was seen in about 5 mins from arriving. There were 3 of us waking-in: another chap also had a later interview time, and a third was a true walk-in with no appointment.

Whole interview took no more than 5-10 mins, was asked why I had visited Cuba (officer commented that as a UK citizen there was no problem with me going there) and was asked to explain my application process, including obtaining the promotional code.

Walked in today at DFW. Had to wait half am hour and was only because someone didn't show up, but they got me in.

The BOS office is not past security. When I was there a few months ago there were people who were 3 hrs early that they took in when there was no line,so I assume walk-ins are ok if there is not a big line.

Global Entry Interviews at Portland/PDX -- Are Walk In Appointments available

I have a question that I haven't been able to find the answer to (I might be searching the wrong terms, if so, please accept my apologies) :

Is it possible to get a Global Entry walk in appointment at PDX?

I ask because I've seen discussion about how some interview sites are happy to take walk-ins, while others have signs explicitly saying no (I've read this, somewhere, about Denver), and searching for the information turns up nothing about how the office at PDX would respond.

Thanks!

No on the walk ins. However I was early to my appointment and was taken as soon as I came in. PDX's office seems very busy.

Global Entry Enrollment -- Walk Ins?

My wife was approved for GE, but there are no appointments available at the two most convenient interview locations (JFK and BOS) for quite some time. Can we just walk in? A few weeks ago, when flying back into JFK, my colleague was told to just walk in when he mentioned to a CBP officer handing out GE fliers that he was approved and waiting to schedule an interview, but I don't want to drive 2+ hours for no reason if that was a fluke and not the norm.

I just checked every day and found a cancellation and made an appointment

ATL had a 3 month wait, I got an appt in 2 days

Wondering the same thing for LAX. Would rather not wait >4 months... although with that much of a back log I'd imagine many people are trying to walk in.

GE California

Don't know about current LAX GE, but we arrived 20 minutes early for our appt and were told to come back at our correct time. FYI friends recently went with appt to San Diego and were two plus hours after appt still in line. Had a supervisor not happened by at exact right time and moved them up inline they would have had to leave because babysitter could not stay longer and they had to be back in Orange county
