As a follow up to this, an interview appointment never opened up for the day of my layover in PHL so I made the attempt at a walk in and I was successful. There is a note clearly posted on the door that they do not take walk in interviews but thankfully, they let me in. I'm not sure if it makes a difference but I was there just as they opened on a Saturday and I was out and back through security thirty minutes later.

BOS Help with GE and my kids (should I attempt a walk-in?)
Hi Gang:
I've read all the threads about Global Entry interview scheduling, but haven't found a clear answer to the following: My wife and I are both GE already. Our two kids have conditional acceptance. However, they are both minors. So, one parent must be with them for the interview... not to mention scheduling 4 months out at BOS right now :( Any advice about attempting a walk-in with both kids at once? They're 16 and 17 and I don't want to wait 4 months AND go back to the airport twice. IF you think a walk-in is possible, any recommendations on time of day, day of week, etc? Of course I have called every published GE phone number for BOS and never gotten to a real person. Thanks! Dino |
When you go to BOS for global entry you sit outside the door and wait for them to come out and call your name so I doubt they take a walk in unless it was the end of the day/there happened to be a no show for that specific appointment.
When I went it seemed they were fully booked as there were a bunch of people waiting. If you need it soon I would just drive/fly to JFK or check frequently for cancellations. |

GE Walk-In at HNL?
Has anybody had any experience with doing a walk-in for a GE interview at the Honolulu center?

I have an appointment right before my expiration at SFO in May, but my flight plans have changed and now I can't make it. Any one have recent experiences walking in to either SFO or LAS?

Seattle
No walk-ins for Seattle (SEATAC). Tried this morning before a flight and they made it abundantly clear that I could not even wait out a no-show.

Had an interview scheduled for Thursday at JFK on my trip out... had some time to spare when I flew in on Monday and wanted to try my luck at the GE at T4... first person I spoke to when I went in told me I can wait and they might be able to take me, but anyone with an appointment would be seen first... after waiting for around 20 minutes, another lady came for me, and when I explained to her I had an appointment later in the week, but wanted to see if I can do the interview today, she basically said they don't take walk-ins and asked me to come back at the appointment date...

SLC interview walk in?
Bumping this thread due to the ridiculous waits in locations I frequent.
I have a June final interview at SLC and a May departure for Paris. Darn! Anyone have intel on walking in for the Global entry interview at SLC? When I got TSA precheck last year at SLC they were taking walk ins and even asked me if I was precheck or global entry. I notice they are only scheduling Global entry interviews in the afternoon and it looks like they are no longer doing them after July ! Jim PS. I note good availability of appointments at IAD and DTW. |
Own question answered: SLC office does not take walk ins. I realized there is an actual phone # on my appointment page and called only to get the discouraging news.
I keep clicking through to reschedule and found an appointment 5 days earlier whoopeee! Doesn't help me though. Jim |

I was able to get a last minute appointment at LAS this week. When I showed up, someone was waiting to try to walk in and was told they don't take walk ins. |
Walk in
Site: SFO Wait time: 5min Date: 02/27/2016 There's a sign up list at the board at the door. The sign up list does state that you can wait from 45min up to 7hours. And there was no guarantee an opening will be available. |
Anyone know if they are taking walk-ins at DEN or IAD? The soonest I can get an appointment at DEN (my base) is June 30th but I'll be flying through IAD in a couple of weeks and if I don't have a delay I might try to get in there.
