A super detailed report! I just came back from RAK. Of course, Amanjena.
I agree with the above comments about Jena, we had the same pavilion as yours, the newer added pool is good, but privacy is a concern.
I liked the F&B, the Pizza was really good and the Moroccan salad, we had our first lunch there in the olive garden.
The morocon restaurant had nice Lamb Tagine and Beef Tagine I liked the quality of the meat, definitely not the frozen meat from Sysco or Costco.
The Jena service is a little hit-and-miss, if I use the North American service standard, would rate about 8.5 to 9.0.
If I use Asian Aman, or legacy Aman standard would be 6-7, maybe 7.5.
One question, did they charge you MAD or your credit card currency?
The air quality in the medina was horrible, unbearable, too many motorbikes flying... The shopping experience at Rabat is 100% better.

The air quality in the medina is very poor indeed. What's more, it's not entirely safe when these guys race through people on their motorcycles. I would have liked to have knocked one over more than once. I had recorded this video:

Patisserie Lalla Moulati
We stopped for a short break at the Lalla Moulati patisserie. The prices were reasonable (don't know exactly how much) and the quality was acceptable.

There were also baby cats on the roof terrace, some of which did not look well. The owner claimed they came over from other houses.

My credit card was charged in MAD. As I said I had stress with it before because they converted it for the prepayment. That costs over 200 €.

Musee du Parfum
We went to the Musee du Parfum.

The museum is located somewhat off the beaten track in an old riad, where you first have to climb the stairs.

First a look into the inner courtyard.

The museum is very manageable. There is some information about perfume production in a few rooms.

The courtyard from below.

There are also a few rooms here. You can create your own perfume in one of them.

Certainly not comparable to Grasse, but quite nice.

Time for the last dinner. This time again at the Japanese restaurant. Compared to the first time, we concentrated on sushi. There was also a creation with caviar, for example, which was quite expensive at 650 dirhams.

The saushi was good, but of course also expensive. But you shouldn't expect anything extraordinary.

MAP - Monde Arts Parure
On our last morning, we went back to the medina, to the Monde Arts Parure museum.
Our driver didn't immediately recognize it as a museum and sensed his chance to advertise his grandiose artisan bazaar on 16,000 square meters or so with "government controlled quality". When I objected that I wanted to go to the museum, they said it was like a museum. I let them take me to the Monde Arts Parure anyway.
It is somewhat hidden away in a side street.

The museum itself is very diverse and offers an incredible amount. Jewelry, garments and other handicrafts have been collected from over 50 countries. Really very interesting, I was really impressed.

Finally, we went up to the roof, where there is also a restaurant. The view revealed some of the city's problems, but the restaurant looked good. But as we were in a bit of a hurry, we didn't try anything.

Musee de l’Art Culinaire Marocain
Now, unfortunately, I can't spare you a little disappointment.
Let's start at the Musee de l'Art Culinaire Marocain.
When we went in, we were told that the museum was still closed due to earthquake damage. However, we were able to look around the open rooms and there was no entrance fee.

Maison Tiskiwin
Then off to Maison Tiskiwin. The Bert Flint collection is considered to be very beautiful, so you can look forward to it.

Looks too? It was. Here's why:

OK, it can happen. Then go on.

Dar Si Said
Dar Si Said is the carpet museum and is also highly praised. The route went through winding alleyways and the next frustration awaited us at our destination.

This time they are renovating, according to the homepage it was of course open.

So through the souks (does that come from "sucks"?) to the next destination.
