I lived in SM during my uni years and a few years after. Glad you enjoyed the beach though I would have recommended Patrick's roadhouse over Perrys Congrats on the F opup.

I'm still not as much of a fan as most of the cirrus seat as I find it to be too firm, though I've bought and customized/trimmed an extra thick yoga mat (trimmed to fit within carry on dimensions) that I look forward to trying on CX or AA. That said, at least this year I'm flying PHX-LHR on BA as I'm enjoying F seats sold as CW. I'm doing a series of ex-DUB flights this year as well (used a one way On Business booking to position), and for a flight in November, F on PHX-LHR was cheaper than CW.

Anyway, enjoy your TP run!

Can receiving abuse via whatsapp but from a FT member get them banned from FT?

IF so I'd like to report teledude for sending me pics of the beach, pints etc via whatsapp while I'm sat on QRA and unable to drink!

On the same basis, he has stopped sending me any. Can he be banned for the opposite reason? (That way we have both bases covered!)

And what is QRA? It sounds painful!

Regardless, does LAX have more than one AC? I managed to get 4 vouchers for visiting both D15 and D30 lounges at MIA earlier this week. I used none of them between 6-9am.

Just the one I believe. The downstairs desk checks you in and may give out drinks coupons.
You then go upstairs and the next desk gives you a card to the flagship lounge with drinks you help yourself to (assuming you're entitled to access) or you go into the normal lounge and pay / get free house drinks / use premium coupons.

The same lounge I visited on Sunday and going back Monday. I wonder if they do any breakfast?

You had much better weather in Santa Monica than I did last week, no fog or haze.

Fly safely Paul. Good to meet you briefly on the way to DUB. I thought my itinerary was a little daft but you are insane my comparison. Welcome to GGL - I just got there with the LAS->LAX->SFO today via the 2 x 3000 TP rule!

I think everywhere you go at the moment there are probably FT'ers!!!! Currently in the Crowne Plaza SFO myself!

Ah, the lounge looks bigger in the daytime. I was there in the dark about 5am UK time, having been travelling since 5am the previous day.

Hope you get to Hawaii safely and enjoy whatever brief time you have there.
