So the 321T was great. Lovely service. Chicken was superb too ^
My only gripe was the light and noise from the galley heard from 1A. Slept a little then arrived at LAX. Wow what chaos out the front!
Waited about 15 mins for the shuttle which dropped off at the hilton first then the CP. Got a decent enough room on the 15th floor and it's now 6am

I stayed at the CP last year. I kept getting up to check the window was closed - it was so badly soundproofed for an airport hotel. Lobby was cold and unwelcoming as well. However, points need to be used! Keep up the great work teledude

Currently sat on the beach!
Checked out around 7am from the CP and left my rucksack there No issues. Requested an uber plus to the pier and Tony arrived in his caddy 3 mins later
20 mins to santa monica and here I am!
Just waiting for perry's to open for breakfast
More pics soon...

Domestic and international will be very different, just like on BA. Four hours without food is a bit much though!
For a night flight the AA77W wins for me. The bed is 6ft 3in and feels more roomy to me, and the personal storage space is far greater. The IFE is also superior. On a night flight I am personally not looking for great service, just great sleep!

On this trip JFK MIA on 757 was absolutely fine in (domestic) first. Seats something like the ones on BA's Babybus. Warmed nuts and the rest of the food was, well, generously served; and the pint of bloody Mary set me up for a nap. The crew were attentive.
MIA SFO on a (revamped?) 763 was even better: each flat-bed seat in dom-F has direct aisle access, cabin crew were first-rate - though i'm afraid i disappointed them by insisting on keeping my window blind up. On a flight through clear morning skies I'm happier watching america pass by below rather than sit in a darkened cabin watching reruns of Big Bang and some very strange property porn.
I guess I'd have to compare those flights with BA's business-class on routes like Lisbon and Cairo.
SFO LAX and back was perhaps more typical of domestic (short-haul), but even that was well managed.
On all flights the premium boarding thing was rigorously policed.

Had a nice wander round santa monica...roasting hot out though
People love running and cycling here! Minicab back from town was more expensive than my uber this morning!
Will head to LAX soon to collect boarding passes and relax in the longue.
Santa Monica....

Was in Santa Monica about 3 weeks ago for the LA Marathon. Seems dead compared to the hoards of people on the beach etc that weekend.
The shopping areas in your photo are prettier at night with the lights on the trees - looks Christmassy.
