I am surprised you find the Flagship Lounge better than the Flounge! What is it you find better?

That was a TATL breakfast? Compared to what BA serve (plastic carton of fruit and a bacon roll (sometimes)), that is a million miles away.

Looks great.

I'm just thinking the same BHDATC, this trip report has made my weekend - sad I know - looking forward to my two AA trips later this year. I've got 3 x 77W and 3 x 32B Transcons included - ok a couple of 757s and 737s as well sadly. Great work teledude, loved this report.

I am pleased to hear the AA food has been improved, since last October it has been consistently (or should that be persistently ) poor. I've not flown an AA flight with food service for a few weeks, let's hope they have listened and improved the food offerings permanently.

It's a great little lounge, isn't it?

Enjoyed this little trip teledude. AA 77W and transcon are both on my list to do in the next 12 months or so.

I also enjoy seeing how long these TRs (or whatever alternative name is used to get round it) stay on the BA forum before being moved. Personally I think this is more informative than a full TR so is in the right place here.

I think it's more tranquil, the sandwiches are nicer, and some of the dinner offerings are better, but hey that's just me.
We popped into the Flounge the day we went to LAX just to have a look to compare to Galleries Club and it was like a hell hole in their. We didn't even finish our Champagne before scurrying back to the CCR

What does a snack basket consist of? I think USAir now offer the same, and I'm on an eligible flight with them later this week.

Edited to add a big thanks to teledude for the trip report.

2 drinks though?!

Edit.. Bud light is non premium
They will fairly readily offer you more drinks coupons - they don't give you lots to start with since they don't want you leaving them lying around the Club. Just go back to the agents at the entrance and ask for more.
