Airline: Air France
Route: Nice-Paris (Orly)
Flight number: AF6235
Duration: 1 hour 25 min
Aircraft: Airbus A319
Seats: Somewhere down the back

Having heard so many horror stories about Air France, I wasn’t particularly looking forward to this flight. My fears were unfounded and the whole experience was a pleasant one. The seats were quite a bit thinner than the ones we have on Air NZ’s domestic flights, effectively increasing the legroom. A biscuit and a drink were served and had to sustain us until we had time for a late lunch in Paris. This was a domestic flight so arrival at Orly was a breeze.

Thin seats

Goodbye Nice, you were fantastic!

Paris apartment
Our accommodation in Paris was in a small apartment overlooking one of the small canals that come off the Seine. We had stayed here last year and thoroughly enjoyed it so it was an easy pick this time around.

Paris and Versaille

Duck a l’Orange at Le Petit Canard - we saw it feature briefly on Heston’s feast (TV show) so decided to go, it was definitely worth it
