There was an attempt at this a few years back, but I think the list is far outdated:

www.atlarge.com tells you about wifi and cellular and powerpoint and... at airports around the world based on user input. It does not, however, specifically state if access is free. You may find that information in user comments (e.g. LHR access is paid-for through T-Mobile, but Starbucks were giving away access cards.)

Actually, in ATL... only on the E concourse.... and only around the center of the concourse where the dining area is... you can get free wireless. At least you could a month and a half ago.....

Great Thread Idea!

AZO (Kalamazoo)-generally fast and easy-I rarely connect as I try to exit security as the plane is boarding (a wonderful home airport-small-fast-close parking-very simple)

GRR (Grand Rapids)-also generally fast and simple.

MLI (Moline)-seems hit or miss regarding speed and connectivity but definitely free and a life saver during the standard MLI delays.

IDA (Idaho Falls)-not super fast but perfectly acceptable

JAX (Jacksonville) Decent speed

ROC (Rochester) Hit or miss for me re: connectivity, multiple networks pop up but good once you are connected.

BDL (Hartford) worked great

RIC - Richmond, VA. Works great - fast and reliable. I've even used it while stuck on the tarmac.

Ben Gurion TLV

Fast and good enough to make Skype calls - thank goodness, left mobile in car at LHR and was bumped off my flight and was returning to T4 and not T1 so had to tell valet parking
