Anyways if one is an ATT DSL or iPhone user, you can access ATT wifi for free. |
As I found out last week, MCO has free wi-fi. ORD, where I am more likely to get stuck, does not.
MSP used to be free, but no longer is. In my travels, I've found that the cheaper the hotel, the more likely it is to have free wi-fi. Go figure. |

Stay in a luxury hotel and on top of the $300+ you are spending per night, you're paying $12 a night for internet, $15-30 a day for parking depending on the city, and lucky to have a Starbucks within walking distance (or $8 coffees available via room service) :D |
The above info is 2.5 years old and will have changed enormously .. is there a more up to date FT thread I have missed .. can anyone ofer a link please if there is?

Don't know about the US but in Australia all McDonald's eating establishments now have free Wi Fi. No pressure to purchase food.
Limited to 50mb per session and I noticed on the T&C that usually only 14 users at one time. Still it worked for me. |
