A lot of weaknesses in the South Pacific and Australia, but it was fun !!

I really must do something about Western Canada, Micronesia, the Marshall, the Marianas and the Solomon Islands !

Lvl 11, 445k. I think if I played it a few times I'd eventually crack into lvl 12. Just gotta memorize the African locations and you'll beat it... Oh, and every now and then it throws you a small island - I noticed after playing it 3 times I was hitting those a lot closer as well.
A big monitor and a good mouse helps, too - with this mouse I can hit almost all of the European and North American cities within 100km. When I was playing on Facebook with a Thinkpad, it was more like 200-250km.

1st try - Level 8, IQ 101.
I could use a bigger map for my monitor - I was 200-250km off on NY, New Orleans, and the other dozens cities that I know exactly where they were.

This has been a great facebook application for a while
I am at IQ 140
There is also one that goes by airport code on facebook, something all of us FTers would excel at

No sooner did I read about this in the WSJ than I started playing it. I haven't been tracking points, but my best performance has been 114 IQ after losing in the 10th level. (Also, once I was only 7 km from the target, which is the closest I've come.) It's a snowy day here in Chicago, and I think I'll spend the day studying my map of Africa.
I don't know if anyone noticed, but at the bottom are links to variations on the game....Amazing Race version, Unesco Heritage Sites, US, etc. It makes for an interesting variation if you need a bit more of a challenge.

Ok, I couldn't resist.
First time through 466,507, level 11, IQ 122.
I consider this worthy of faint praise.
My excuse is that I was injudicious enough to take the test immediately after a lunch consisting of an avacado, goat cheese, and duck breast salad with Penzey's Spices Tuscan Sunset garlic bread, washed down with a half bottle of quite tolerable Jan Kris Paso Robles 2004 Meritage Crossfire (alc. cont. 13.9%!) Oh, and a couple of Lindt extra dark chocolate truffles.
I think I should have gotten a 50,000 point handicap for the lunch.

If you are a member on TripAdvisor, they now have a link to this game on your profile. That is how I found out about it. Played a couple times earlier this week and could not get past level 11. My IQ = 153.

On my first (and only try, so far), I completed level ten, 49,759; just missing progressing to level 11.
I made a total of 437,857 points overall... traveller IQ of 119.
The Northwest Airlines inflight magazine destination map saved me big-time on this one!
