Hey -- if the prude in question can have the IFE shut off for everyone because (s)he finds it offensive (rather than simply ceasing watching it), can we object to him/her being on our flight in the future because we find him/her offensive?

Imagine at the gate. . . "I'm sorry, we were going to let you board, but unfortunately we cannot. Someone found you offensive."

What about the rest of the passengers. The FA should have just said it's been approved by headquarters for public viewing, so just ignore it if it does not interest you. UGH, hate these selfish people.
This is what I was going to say. It was/is approved.....total BS! They should have opened the hatch and let the complaining individual ride on the wing.

This is why I carry DVDs and aan Ipod....

If only there was a universal convention when it comes to "offensive".

Tina Fey's character and Alec Baldwin went to some Austrian Duke's party (I think the duke was PeeWee Herman aka Paul Reubens). Sorry I don't know the character's names - I never watch the show.

Speaking of Rebelyell, what happened to the thread about the Disney thing, did it move to Omni, or what happened? I'm a little confused.

I am lucky I wasn't on the road today, I would have missed it altogether, oh well. This thread, along with the other, just goes to show that there all kinds of people out there, including those that find Delta's carefully chosen G rated content offensive. Bottom line is I don't think you can make 100% of the people happy 100% of the time.
