Great Barier Island, outside of Auckland, some airports in Laos(using 17 seater chinese Yuyumshi plane, the 30 seaters were to big!),but I think GBZ,was the tiniest, just checked it up,in summer it has as many as 15 departures/landings a day. I transited to a direct LAX flight, the LAX plane was sort of a tiny bit larger! At least 2 Airlines serve it,the largest advertise the fact that unlike its competitor it provides lifevests to evry passenger an only use twin engine planes!!

I believe in my case with respect to scheduled airline service that would be the airport at Put-In-Bay, Ohio (3W2) back in the old days (late '70s?) when Island Airlines flew their Ford Trimotors there from Port Clinton.

Smallest airport for me is HKK... I believe only B1900's operate in/out of there (possibly Jetstream 32's in the past as well?)
It DOES have a small terminal building with a cafe... so not TOO small!
OTOH the smallest "landing field" for me was HMAS Sydney... an FFG with a flight deck.. operating an AS350B and an S70-B-2 in my day.... the Seahawk made the deck look..... very small!

I don't know about smallest, but it sure isn't that large. Barra airport in the Hebrides is pretty unusual, I think young people would call it "funky". The flight times are determined by low tide as the plane lands on the beach.
Needless to say, that holiday is still one of the most memorable.

Ozark
Ozark Alabama for me, it was a hut for a terminal with space for two turbo props (seat 9 people) back in 2000, I don't even know if they have regular service anymore if any.
Baggage claim was walk to the back of the plane ...

In the early 60's HAF - Half Moon Bay, CA. was a diversion airport for PSA, UA, and PA when SFO was fogged in. PSA even had a trailer there for their flight operations. Passengers would bus back and forth between SFO - HAF.
Then there were HQM (Aberdeen/Hoquiam in Washington), CEC (Crescent City, CA.) and ODW (Oak Harbor, WA).
