moving to america
I would like some info in moving to america.
I am right now in the UK. UK citizen, I want some info off someone who has moved to the US successfully. and could tell me how to do it.
And i would also like to know if this is true.
My friend said all i need to do iz go over there. try and get a work place to sponser me in gettin the work papers. and then a year later apply for your visa.
Thanks for the Help.

Don't count on being sponsored for a visa AFTER you get here, try to arrange it BEFORE. Also, at my workplace we only sponsor people for visas if they have advanced training (PhD or MD). If you don't have unusual and impressive job skills it will probably be difficult.

I didn't mean to be discouraging. The surefire way to get a visa is to marry a citizen. It doesn't have to be the person you want to be with, but that helps. I have a friend who married his cousin only for the visa.

You need to marry your cousin or be engaged to your sister/brother to get a visa.
No, seriously, you can enter the US on a K-1 Fiance(e) visa and then get married. Search the K-1 visa on google, and you will come up with a number of very helpful sites that will walk you through the process.

Red = communist, oh, wait, right wing (Republican, conservative, evangelical Christian, etc. etc.) Remember all of the maps for the US preidential election(s)? You must have seen them. You probably aren't too interested in this place if you haven't. Are you sure you wanna come here?
